The decision by Dr. Schultz to suspend Pastor Benke is appalling.  He is not guilty of synchretism, pagan worship or breaking any commandments in regard to his participation at Yankee Stadium.  The charges are almost as ridiculous as Wallace Schultz's arrogant comments regarding who understands and who doesn't understand the Word of God.  I hope the Lord has more tolerance of pompous windbags than I.  It seems to me that the self-righteous, offended accusers need to spend more time reading the bible accounts of evangelism rather than swimming in the sewage of the Christian News rederic.  Wally Schultz needs to absorb the account of St. Paul in Athens.  Paul "was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols." Acts 17:16. But he didn't separate from them in order to keep the truth of the gospel holy.  Instead he complimented them on their religious hearts! "Men of Athens!  I see that in every way you are very religious!" (vs. 22) Now that's evangelism that might actually reach someone.  If our goal is to spread the gospel and magnify the Lord to those who don't know Him, we need to start where they are.  Last September they were at Yankee Stadium.
