Thank goodness this action has been taken by the ILLL Board of Directors. His continuing as spokesperson for The Lutheran Hour (and the LC-MS) would be disastrous for the mission of the Lutheran Hour. One cannot preach God's love and forgiveness on Sunday, and then "zap" a fellow Pastor such as Rev. Benke on Monday. It is hypocritical and contrary to everything the Lutheran Hour has stood for these many years.

I am sure the LLL Board heard from many of its listeners and contributors and acted accordingly.

Now, this "temporary action" has to be made permanent -- unless Schulz apologizes publicly to the Lutheran Hour audience and to The Synod!

He is "out of control" when he will not even listen to the LLL Board of Directors. He is not King of the LC-MS or The Lutheran Hour. His actions have been disgraceful and will harm our church body immensely.

I applaud this courageous decision by the LLL.
