Just what are the "certain stipulations that Dr. Schulz must agree to before being reinstated? Nothing is said in the news release concerning this. It sounds to me like the Schulz zealots are putting pressure on the LLL Board of Directors to reverse their action. Frankly, I would not be willing to let him be reinstated unless he humbles himself, apologizes to Dr. Kieschnick and Dr. Benke, and asks the forgiveness of the Synod. That's a big order, and I don't think he'd do it. Anything less would be unacceptable in my view, and would not bring me back as a contributor. Once again I say, one cannot preach Christ's love on Sunday morning, and "zap" fellow Pastors like he did during the week. This man refused to meet with the President of Synod and refused to even acknowledge Dr. Kieschnick's letter to him. This is arrogance of the highest order, and certainly unChristian conduct. Our Synod has many wonderful Pastors with great talent who could fill Schulz shoes ten times over. He has overstayed his time.
