I agree wholeheartedly with those who maintain that Rev. Schulz's report does not do what he claimed -- he offers NO Scriptural support for his decision, even thought he says "this case has been adjudicated, not on the basis of man's opinions, but on God's clear Word." 
 
As one who served on Committee 5 of the 1992 Pittsburgh Convention and brought before the convention the "Synodical Dispute Resolution" chapter of the LCMS Handbook, I find it very ironic that Rev. Schulz uses the word "adjudicate" constantly, when the whole purpose of dispute resolution is to resolve disputes and  bring about reconciliation -- NOT to "adjudicate," "judge," etc.
