By your line of reasoning, Jesus would have said to the Pharisees, "Let's show our unity and pray together and eat together." Instead, He ate with repentant sinners and used every opportunity to expose the unrepentant hypocrisy of the Pharisees, and His actions led Him to the cross.

He might even have said to the demons who recognized Him, "Thank you for that acknowledgement. Because you have spoken the truth in your confession, I will leave you alone. I will not drive you out."

Jesus WAS there, and He spoke against all that is not the true God.

Jesus was at the Trade Center, speaking out against the self-centered materialism of America. He was there, speaking out to the world about the obscenity of terrorism.

Jesus was at Yankee Stadium, and He must have wondered at this display of unity among those who actively send missionaries to convert the weak and lowly of each other's religion.

If we really believe that there is no difference, or that differences don't matter, then let's stop supporting missions and evangelism. But that would put LLL out of business, wouldn't it?
