Benke Supporter Wonders Why LCMS Doesn't Speak Up With Other Issues |

I support Dr. Benke. The LCMS should be worrying about so many other
issues that are facing us as Christians and also our country.
Why can't we speak up when issues like the debate re the Pledge of Allegiance comes up? Why don't we do something about the disintegration of the family and how it is affecting all phases of life? I understand there is a separation of church and state, but at least we should get letters to congregations re National issues and asking congregations to pray for a certain issue during a particular week.
