Present Troubles Lead to God Pleasing Changes In LCMS

The decision of VP Schulz is wrong because the actions of Pres. Benke were Biblical, God pleasing and approved by Pres.
Since Pres Benke has been charged with violating the Mo Synod Constitution,
it should now be clear that the Mo Synod Constitution is in serious
need of change. Why can't a Lutheran pastor worship with other Christians
or pray in the name of Jesus with unbelievers? There is no Biblical
basis for such constraints. Mo Synod should immediately repudiate
the teaching that Rom 16:17 is a basis for exclusion from worship with other
Christians.
Hopefully this embarassing episode will lead to God pleasing changes in Mo Synod. I praise God that Pres. Kieschnick is our shepherd in these special times in Mo Synod. Procedurally the decision is flawed because A Vice President has no authority to suspend a District President. The Schultz decision
should be a recommended decision with no loss of rights pending a full review .
