No, I do not agree with the suspension of Pastor Benke. I am not clear whether I am too late to be officially counted in your poll, but in case I am not, I offer my views. Pastor Benke's involvement in the post-September 11 prayer service at Yankee Stadium did not violate any Christian doctrine that I know of.  Attempts to make it such strike me as bizarre.  Pastor Benke clearly represented his beliefs in Jesus Christ as savior and in no way compromised these beliefs.  If anything, he bore witness for Christ at a time when love and healing were very much needed.
